Framing Material

All of our windows are framed with our Fibrex® material. Warranted not to flake, blister, peel, crack, rust, pit, rot or corrode for a long time, our exclusive product outperforms wood, vinyl, aluminum and fiberglass.

Made of reclaimed wood fibers and thermoplastic polymers, our Fibrex material is an exceptional insulator. In fact, it is about 700 times less conductive than aluminum.

It is so strong that we can afford to make our window frames narrower without sacrificing durability. They retains their weathertight construction even with extreme temperature swings, rendering material contraction and expansion less of a factor.


Renewal by Andersen of Houston takes double glazing to the next level. We use spectrally selective low-e glass coatings to enhance the thermal properties of our casement, bay, bow, sliding, picture, specialty and double-hung windows.

All of our glass options bear the ENERGY STAR® seal, but our High-Performance™ Low-E4® SmartSun™ glass is special. It has a 0.24 U-factor, reduces solar heat gain to just 28%, admits 65% of daylight and blocks 95% of ultraviolet (UV) rays.

Professional Installation

When it comes to the actual window replacement, we pay extreme attention to detail. Our installers carry out the process smoothly because our made-to-order units are custom-built to fit within 1/16 of an inch of the opening. We seal the little gaps with special insulation foam to eliminate drafts and cover it with trim for visual appeal.
